Iron Jawed Angels Screening

On November 10, 2010, Suffrage100MA (now the Massachusetts Women’s History Center) held our first-ever event, celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment! Thanks to the Barbara Lee Family Foundation, the event was held at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, where we watched a screening of “Iron Jawed Angels”, a film centered around Alice Paul and Carrie Chapman Catt that showcased the final years of the women’s suffrage movement leading up to the 19th Amendment.
