International Women's Day Annual Breakfast

Join feminist organizations from around the greater Boston area in coming together for the 27th Annual International Women's Day Breakfast. This year's theme is Action in Unity: Celebrating Women’s Collective Power. This event is moderated by Karen Holmes-Ward, with esteemed Panelists Rev. Clementina Chery, President & CEO, Louis D. From Roses to Raises: Women’s Fight for Just and Equal Pay in Massachusetts

Women in the Commonwealth have often led the way in the fight for just compensation and equal pay in the United States. From the 1830s Lowell mill girls "turn outs" to 140 years later with the 9to5 movement of organized office workers, learn how Massachusetts working women have advocated for their worth.

Massachusetts Women in the Olympics: A Century of Excellence

Since 1928, Massachusetts women have showcased their remarkable athletic skill at the Olympic Games. From track and field and swimming, to figure skating and ice hockey, to wheelchair racing and para-rowing, Bay State women have excelled on the highest stage in the sports world and continue to reach new heights.
