Rosaline Lowe was born in Grenada, West Indies. As a young girl her family moved to England. After several years in England, her family moved to Montreal, Canada. She finished her education there and received a degree in Applied Social Science from Concordia University.
After graduating, she moved to Boston and landed a job at Elizabeth Grady, on Newbury Street, Boston. She worked at the company for five years as an Esthetician. In 1985, Rosaline Lowe launched Rosaline’s Skin & Spa on Beacon Street Brookline. In a few short years, her business became a household name as an expert in treating diverse skin types. In 1995-1999 Rosaline was voted Best of Boston by Boston Magazine as the best spa in Boston. She was also recognized by many national and local magazines including Elle magazine, Allure, the Living Section of the Boston Globe, Bay State Banner and the Boston Herald. She also received an award from the African Museum on Beacon Hill. Boston, and local TV interviews.
After 25 years in the business, Rosaline Lowe thought it was time to move on and devote her time to community services. She was voted in as a Board Member at Roxbury Main Street. She’s also a board member of Brookline Council and also volunteers at the Brookline Center. She’s also a member of the Board of Directors at Suffrage100MA.
Rosaline loves to travel, enjoys long walks, and visiting museums and her local library to check out biographies and books on history . She also enjoys cooking and loves trying out new recipes!
