Tournament of Roses Parade 2020

Women in white march in parade.

On January 1, 2020, Suffrage100MA (now the Massachusetts Women's History Center) proudly joined Pasadena Celebrates 2020 and 100 suffragist marchers for the Tournament of Roses Parade, with a float celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. The tournament of Roses Parade suffrage centennial float was called, “Years of Hope; Years of Courage”. Suffrage100MA Founder & President Fredie Kay marched representing Massachusetts. The goal was to spread the incredible intersectional suffrage history that we were never taught, and which continues to be our goal today!
