International Women's Day Boston Breakfast 2024

The 26th Annual International Women’s Day Boston Breakfast on March 8, 2024 at Simmons University was a phenomenal success! The sold-out event welcomed over 300 guests in-person, and even more online! Suffrage100MA was honored to be a member of the IWD Boston Planning Committee, an event sponsor, and one of the 20 community tables sharing resources with attendees.

The event, themed "Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges," featured opening remarks by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu.  WCVB's Karen Holmes Ward moderated a panel featuring panelists: high school powerlifter Avery Covitz; MAWOCC Founder & CEO Celia Johnson Blue; and WBZ reporter Katrina Kincade .
