Fredie Kay, Suffrage100MA Founder/President, was among the 2023 honorees at Boston Women. Inc.’s “Women Amongst Us” Tea on Saturday, April 1 at George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park. The awards were born from the desire to celebrate Women’s History Month and recognize the many women heroes of Boston’s past. Fredie Kay was the recipient of the Grimke Award, along with honorees Sally Glora – First Woman Auditor for the City of Boston; The Late Alice Palumbo – World War II Marine; Sally Glora – First Woman Auditor for the City of Boston, and Monalisa Smith – President, Mothers for Justice and Equality.

Boston Women, Inc. was formed to educate the public and celebrate Boston women past and present. It is committed to the philosophy that women’s stories need to be told and that women’s progress is built on educating current and future generations.
